Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) hosted its fourth Lahore Policy Exchange talk on “Climate Change and Sustainable Development”. Some of the effects of climate change scientists predicted in the past are now occurring, for instance accelerated rising sea levels and longer and more intense heat waves. The policy talk focused on the dire need of sustainable development – development that satisfies present needs without compromising the well-being of future generations.
