Ijaz Nabi
Honorary Executive DirectorIjaz Nabi is Country Director (Pakistan) at the International Growth Centre – hosted jointly by the London School of Economics and Oxford University, and a non-resident Fellow at the Centre for Global Development, Washington DC.
He previously worked at the World Bank in Washington for 22 years, on Mexico, Korea, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, and Thailand (leading the World Bank team during the East Asian financial crisis). He was also Manager, Economic Policy, for the South Asia region, from 2002-2008. Dr. Nabi has also held the position of Advisor (Economic Affairs) to Chief Minister Punjab and been a member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the State Bank of Pakistan
He teaches Economic Policy at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), and has published extensively on economic growth, investment and finance, industrialization, international trade and labour markets in developing countries. He has a BA from Government College Lahore, B.Sc. Honors from London School of Economics and a PhD from Warwick University, UK.

Zara Salman
Chief Executive OfficerZara Salman has completed her MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and BSc Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences. She has wide-ranging knowledge and experience of conducting research across sectors particularly in the areas of climate change, governance, trade and industry. In addition, Ms. Salman has developed effective research teams, designed and implemented research projects, coordinated across multiple partners and established strategic relationship building. She has extensive experience working on donor projects with the World Bank, FCDO, USAID and UNICEF.

Sajid Maruf Khan
Chief Financial OfficerSajid Maruf Khan has the has over twenty years of work experience with public and private sector organizations in the fields of accounts, finance, audit, project planning and management. He started his career with a chartered accountant firm, Grant Thornton and later joined Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) where he has served in senior management positions.
Mr. Khan is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. He received his B.Com degree from the University of Punjab and BSc (Honors) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (OBU), UK. He obtained his Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting & Finance from the Liverpool College of Management Sciences, UK. He also has a Fellow Public Finance Accountant certification (FPFA) from the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants.

Emun Hafeez
Senior Research AssociateEmun Hafeez has experience working on research themes including trade and industry, taxation, sustainability and climate change. She has worked on various donor projects with the World Bank and FCDO. She is a proponent of change through informed decision-making. Her research interests include sustainability, urban resilience, gender and inclusivity.
Emun Hafeez has completed her Masters in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science and BSc Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences.

Muhammad Bilal Pervaiz
Assistant Manager, Finance and AdministrationBilal Pervaiz has completed his MBA-Finance from the University of Central Punjab, Lahore Campus. Prior to joining CDPR he has worked for two years at Interwood Mobel Pvt. Ltd as an Account Officer in their taxation department.

Ayesha Zaman
Research AssociateAyesha Zaman completed her Masters in Global Migrations and Social Justice from the University of Glasgow, with a BSc. in Public Administration from NUST, Islamabad. She has worked on various projects with CDPR, such as REMIT’s project on textile value chain sustainability, export diversification into non-traditional export markets, and the EDF strategy. Her research interests include social justice, human rights, and sustainability.

Sabeen Khalid
Research AssociateSabeen Khalid has completed her MSc in Public Policy and Management from King’s College London and BSc in Political Science from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Her research interests include gender inequality, social justice, and governance.

Ali Mustafa
Accounts OfficerAli Mustafa has completed his MBA-Finance from the University of Central Punjab Lahore Campus. Prior to joining CDPR he has worked at Mir Group International as an Account Officer.
