Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) hosted its seventh Lahore Policy Exchange talk on “Inequality in Pakistan.” Though Pakistan is growing, access to goods, services and opportunities varies widely by income level, education and identity. This is because prevailing structures and institutions perpetuate inequality and prevent those with the lowest access from upward mobility. How severe is the problem, and how can Pakistan bridge the gaps moving forward?
