CDPR’s Young Policy Scholar Programme
This is a four-week, pre-university research programme by the Consortium for Development Policy Research that takes students through the full lifecycle of evidence-based policy research – from identifying a question to producing a publishable policy brief. Designed for ambitious students interested in economics, public policy and development, the programme offers hands-on research experience, expert mentorship and a strong addition to university applications.
WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY

- You want a real publication and research credentials
- You want to understand why Pakistan’s economy and governance work the way they do
HOW TO APPLY
Submit your application via the online application form linked below, and attach:
- Your most recent school transcript
- A cover letter (300 words) addressing:
- 1. Why are you interested in this programme?
- 2. What development or policy problem interests you most, and why?
- 3. What do you hope to do with the skills you gain?
KEY DATES:

- Mid-June 2026 — Decisions announced
