Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) hosted its first Lahore Policy Exchange talk on health and education in collaboration with the International Growth Centre (IGC)’s Pakistan Program, the Centre for Economic Research in Pakistan (CERP) and the Institute of Development and Economic Alternatives (IDEAS). The Lahore Policy Exchange focuses on key development issues up for debate that are discussed amongst academics, policy makers and the members of civil society. The seminar focused on low outcomes of health and education in Pakistan; with nearly half of its children experiencing stunted growth due to malnutrition and the highest percentage of out-of-school children in South Asia.
