The Consortium for Development Policy Research held a session of Lahore Policy Exchange on “Reforming water management in Pakistan”, on Tuesday, 30th October from 3:30pm to 5:00pm at 19A FCC Scheme Maratab Ali Road, Gulberg IV, Lahore. The discussion revolved around the legal and policy framework for the inter-provincial distribution of water in Pakistan. Panelists also touched upon the impact of water distribution on its utilization across different sectors, such as agriculture, in the country and on migration patterns determined by availability of clean drinking water and effect on livelihoods.
