Pakistan’s cities are pivotal to the country’s economy and growth. However, they face compounding pressures to withstand a growing population, resource scarcity, affordable housing shortages, climate-induced risks, and inadequate infrastructure. This policy note dives into how Pakistan can opt for sustainable urban planning to resolve these challenges. This knowledge product was featured in the Agenda Setting for Cities and Climate Change workshop which was held in collaboration with the World Bank and the IGC.
