The Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) and the International Growth Centre (IGC) hosted a closed-door workshop on Shaping Punjab’s Climate Agenda: Priorities, Evidence and Next Steps, on Wednesday, 30th September 2026, at Shalimar C, Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore.

The workshop aimed to provide a platform for the Government of Punjab to articulate its climate priorities and the key decisions facing the province over the next eighteen months. It brought relevant international experience to bear on these priorities, with particular attention to costs, sequencing and institutional feasibility. The workshop sought to establish a basis for sustained technical engagement between the Government of Punjab and the research community.
