The Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) funded Sustainable Energy and Economic Development (SEED) program collaborated with the Consortium for Development Policy Research (CDPR) and International Growth Centre (IGC) Pakistan to formulate a policy note on stimulating Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s urban economy. The policy note examines the state of urbanization and urban economy in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the policy actions that the province can undertake to enhance industrialization, empower local economies and bridge the gap between large scale infrastructure development and social welfare.

This study was funded by the SEED program in 2021.
